We, as English speakers, are immensely blessed to have many, many Bible translations available to us. But, you may wonder, why the vast selection? Isn't one or two versions enough? Is one translation better or more accurate than the other? Are Bible translators trying to create their version of the Bible infused with their theology and agendas? In this episode, we walk through 3 major differences in Bible translations and how you can utilize multiple versions in your Bible study and reading. Join us as we relish in the fact that God has preserved his Word for us through thousands of years, so that we can read it and love it today. As you watch this episode, say a prayer for those who do not yet have a Bible in their language, and that the Spirit would raise up those in the Church to reach them. Throughout this episode, we walk through a powerpoint presentation. We have attached it below. Also attached is a more in-depth version of this presentation, if you want more information. Thirdly, we have attached some books for further reading on the material. As always, reach out to us ([email protected]) if you have any other questions or would like further resources.
